Advent Poem

Catch us, Lord!

Pull us from our shopping and our agendas,

Call to us, fishermen and tax collectors,

to stand with the ages...

to see through the eyes of the prophets

what you have prepared for us!

Let us sense the stable wait...

the preparations for new life...

that we, too, may know the great joy!

​

That we may, in the miracle 

of His birth, know the miracle of 

life through Christ.

​

Amen
