Shhhh!

The air is so quiet.

Then wind,

Then dust.

Then unrelenting rain

disturbing parched desert landscapes.

Changing everything and changing nothing.

 

It is the sun’s fault.

The land and ocean vie for warmth, after a perceived chill.

The land wins ~ warming faster than the vast ocean

Stifling hot air rises

Winds shift

A vacuum is filled

Dust blows hard

Water pours from the sky.

It is the sun’s fault.

 

Torrents torment, then

Shhhh!

Changing everything and changing nothing.
